Signaling Training
KL-SIGGS
Fixed Networks and GSM Common Channel Signaling
Who should attend:
TLC companies technicians who work with switching network planning or operation and maintenance.
Prerequisites
Networks and telecommunication services basic skills. Moreover, WAN network protocols knowledge is recommended.
Course Content
During this training, SS#7 Core Network application messages tracing are analyzed. Furthermore, 2G GERAN access network messages and basic signaling procedures are presented and discussed.
Course Objectives
This course provides trainees with the necessary knowledge on the telecommunication signaling networks structure and protocols. After studying common channel signaling, this training will focus on the protocols involved in the GSM access network (GERAN). As a consequence, trainees can deeply examine the Mobility procedures from and to the HLR, as well as the Number Portability processes and Supplementary Services.
